About me

Hi! My name is Tom Glynn,
and I love photography.

I have had an ongoing affair with photography that has spanned over 50 years. I have remained devoted to photography always finding a way to incorporate my passion into my life and career.

At the age of eighteen I became involved in retouching and restoring photos through a local photo shop. Those were the days of film, and retouching meant using brushes and special inks. It was agonizing and tedious and detailed work but I learned a lot about light, composition and quality by studying the photos that I was restoring.

I took what I had learned from restoring photos and applied it to being a professional photographer. While film has been replaced by digital photos, I still do what I love. The same attention to detail and good eye that has set me apart from other photographers continues to do so today.

My favorite areas of concentration are Family & Portraits, Real Estate, Photojournalism (Events) and Commercial (food & products) photography. I have added video to the list of services that I perform.
